1. Who these terms apply to
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of License.Shopping and to purchases made through the website. “License Shopping”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating License.Shopping and supplying the relevant digital products.
2. Products and product information
Products offered through the website are digital software licenses, activation information or related digital products. Product pages describe the offer's relevant details, such as product name, device count, duration, platform, region, license type, activation method and delivery expectations. Review those details before ordering.
Software is supplied for use under the applicable publisher or manufacturer terms, including any applicable end-user license agreement. Product names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We are not the software publisher. Any statement about a publisher relationship or reseller authorization will only be made where it is supported by current, product-specific documentation.
3. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are shown in USD unless otherwise stated and may change before an order is accepted. Any tax or additional charge that applies should be shown before payment. The amount presented at checkout is the amount payable for the order unless a clearly stated additional charge applies.
Payment is processed through the checkout options presented for the product. Payment providers may process payment details under their own terms and privacy notices. License.Shopping does not request or intentionally store your full payment-card number through the website itself.
4. Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order is a request to purchase the selected product. We may review or decline an order where there is a genuine pricing error, suspected fraud or abuse, unavailable stock, technical failure, legal restriction or another legitimate reason. If a paid order is cancelled, we normally return the payment through the original payment method, subject to applicable law and payment-provider processes.
Please retain your order confirmation and product information. If you notice a duplicate charge or order confirmation, use our Contact page with the relevant order references so we can verify the transactions.
5. Digital delivery
Products are delivered electronically. The delivery timing shown on the relevant product page applies to that offer. Some current offers are intended for instant digital delivery after successful payment; other offers, where listed, may take longer.
Please provide an accessible email address and check your inbox and spam/junk folder. If delivery has not arrived within the stated timeframe, use our Contact page with your order reference rather than placing a duplicate order.
6. ESET pre-activated offers
Some ESET offers are supplied as pre-activated licenses. The underlying source license is activated before an individual customer spot is assigned, so the remaining term can vary depending on when the spot is assigned.
For the current ESET launch offers, the product information describes an expected remaining activation period of approximately 355–365 days. A remaining term within that disclosed range is not, by itself, a delivery defect. If the delivered term is materially outside the product page description, use our Contact page promptly so we can investigate.
Each offer is limited to its stated device allowance and applicable activation limits.
7. Activation and authorization
For the current pre-activated ESET offers, you can activate the supplied license key normally. You may provide your device name at checkout if an optional field is shown, or use the device-details form after purchase, before or after activation. If the device is connected to your own ESET HOME account, you may provide the email address associated with that account instead. The identifier is not mandatory at checkout, but it is needed for our store-side authorization workflow.
This is part of our store's authorization workflow for the relevant offer. Never provide your ESET HOME password, authentication code or other account password to License.Shopping.
You provide the authorization identifier once until the license expires. If you rename the device yourself or its name changes after an operating-system reinstall, send the updated name; both situations are uncommon. If you reinstall your operating system without first removing ESET, or move to another device, follow the ESET Activation Guide and use our Contact page when instructed. If you provide the email for your own connected ESET HOME account, you may be able to manage supported device changes there yourself. If no identifier is provided, the activation may lose authorization at any time.
8. Customer responsibilities
Before ordering, check the product description, device count, duration, region, supported platform and activation method. Follow the product-specific instructions and the publisher's applicable terms. Keep license keys and activation details private and do not publicly share them.
9. Replacements, Refunds and Returns
Digital software licenses and activation information cannot be physically returned in the way that a shipped item can. However, if a product is not delivered, is materially different from what was ordered, or cannot be activated as described, use our Contact page promptly. We assess the facts of each case and do not exclude consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9.1 If a key does not work or activation fails
Use our Contact page to send your order reference, product name, the exact error message and a screenshot where possible. For an ESET issue, also tell us your operating system and whether the device name or ESET HOME connection recently changed. Never include passwords or authentication codes.
We will check the order and relevant product or authorization information. We may ask for reasonable additional details and, where appropriate, suggest troubleshooting steps before deciding on a replacement or refund. An error message alone may not establish the cause, so please share the exact message rather than guessing what happened.
9.2 Replacements
Where a supplied key, activation detail or product is incorrect or defective, we may first provide corrected information, activation guidance or a replacement where that is an appropriate way to resolve the issue. A replacement is not intended to reduce any mandatory legal right to a refund or other remedy.
9.3 When a refund may be available
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, a refund may be considered where delivery fails and cannot be completed within a reasonable additional period, the wrong product was supplied, a duplicate payment is verified, or a genuine activation problem attributable to our supply cannot reasonably be resolved. We review each report rather than promising the same outcome for every technical error.
9.4 Change of mind, incorrect choice and compatibility
Please check the product's platform, device count, region and other requirements before paying. Subject to mandatory law, a change of mind or an incorrect selection may not qualify for a refund after digital product details have been delivered, revealed, activated, registered or used. This does not affect rights that applicable law gives you, including any right that cannot be waived by a website policy.
9.5 Duplicate orders and payments
If you believe you were charged more than once, use our Contact page with the relevant order or transaction references. We will verify the records and, if a duplicate payment is confirmed, arrange the appropriate correction or refund.
9.6 How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are normally returned through the original payment transaction or payment method where possible. Processing time depends on the payment provider and financial institution. When using our Contact page about an order, include the order reference associated with the original payment so we can investigate accurately.
For the separate operational details, read our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms or the Refund Policy removes rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Statutory cancellation notice
Where a statutory cancellation right applies and you wish to exercise it, you may submit this notice using our Contact page:
“To License Shopping: I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the following digital product: [product]. Order number: [order]. Ordered on: [date]. Customer name: [name]. Customer email: [email].”
The availability and conditions of statutory rights depend on the applicable law and circumstances of the purchase.
11. Support
For purchase questions, delivery, activation and post-purchase issues, please use our Contact page.
For faster investigation, include the order reference, product name, exact issue and screenshots where useful. Do not send passwords, authentication codes or unnecessary sensitive information.
12. Misuse, fraud and payment disputes
We may investigate, refuse, cancel, delay or restrict an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, payment abuse, automated attacks, misuse of license keys or activity that could harm customers, publishers or our systems, subject to applicable law. If a genuine order problem occurs, please use our Contact page so we can review it and explain the available next steps. This does not limit any right you may have to contact your payment provider or exercise a statutory right.
13. Intellectual property
License Shopping and its original website content and branding belong to License Shopping or its licensors. Third-party product names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing on this website transfers ownership of third-party software or trademarks.
14. Availability and changes
Products, prices, inventory, delivery times and website features may change over time. The product-specific information presented for an accepted order forms part of that order, subject to applicable law.
15. Disclaimers and liability
We aim to describe products accurately, but third-party software features, compatibility and publisher policies may change. We are not responsible for problems caused by unsupported devices, incorrect customer information, misuse, third-party outages or failure to follow relevant activation instructions, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or a digital product. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
16. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information may be collected and used. Necessary order information may be shared with providers involved in payment, hosting, digital delivery, analytics, attribution, fraud prevention and customer support.
