This policy explains what information License.Shopping may collect, why we use it, and the choices available to customers and visitors.

Website feedback and customer reviews

When you use our on-site feedback survey, we receive the email address, any name you provide, and your answers about your experience. The survey also includes the page path. We use this information to understand customer feedback and respond. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile protection and Brevo transactional email delivery.

When you submit a customer review, we collect your display name, purchase email, order reference, rating and review text to verify the order, review the submission and administer any review incentive. Nothing is published automatically. If approved, we may display only the display name, rating, title, review and a disclosure of any incentive, consistent with your publication consent. We do not publish purchase email or order reference. Contact us to request correction or removal of a published review.

For reviews and review invitations, we may securely retain order references, purchase email addresses, review submissions, invitation dates, delivery and estimated email-open or click events, and opt-out preferences in our private Cloudflare database. Brevo processes invitation and notification emails. Review invitations are sent only where permitted and after applicable consent checks; you may opt out using the invitation link. Email-open measurements may be affected by privacy protections and are not proof that an individual read a message.

If live chat is enabled, Crisp is an external service that may process messages and technical information necessary to provide chat. Please do not include passwords, authentication codes or complete license keys in feedback or chat.

1. Who we are

License Shopping operates License.Shopping, an online store for digital software licenses and related support. Privacy questions or requests can be submitted through our Contact page.

2. Information we may collect

The information processed depends on how you use the site. It may include:

  • Contact information: name, email address and the details you include in a support or business inquiry.
  • Order and transaction information: order reference, products purchased, price, payment or transaction status, delivery status and relevant timestamps.
  • Support and activation information: information you choose to send us to investigate an order, such as the product, license key when needed for a reinstall or device transfer, device name, operating system, screenshot or ESET HOME account email where relevant.
  • Technical and security information: IP address or approximate location, browser/device information, pages visited, referral data and security logs.
  • Usage, attribution and preference information: campaign parameters and similar referral identifiers, plus browser storage used for features such as Favorites, Recently Viewed, session continuity and attribution.

3. Information we do not ask for

We do not ask you to provide your ESET HOME password. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, recovery codes or other account credentials to License.Shopping. Please do not send full payment-card details by email or through a support form.

4. How we use information

We use relevant information to accept and administer orders, confirm payment status, deliver digital products, manage activation authorization where a product requires it, respond to questions, investigate errors, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain transaction records, improve website usability and measure marketing or partner referrals.

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing may be necessary to perform a transaction or take steps requested before it, meet legal obligations, protect legitimate business and security interests, or rely on consent where consent is required.

5. Payment and order processing

Payment credentials are handled by the payment provider presented during checkout. License.Shopping receives the order and transaction information needed to confirm the purchase, provide delivery and support the transaction. We do not intentionally store full payment-card numbers through the website itself.

6. Analytics, attribution, cookies and browser storage

The site is configured to use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity for measurement and experience analysis. Short.io may be used for referral-link and campaign attribution. Depending on the services and settings active when you visit, these providers may process technical identifiers, browser information and interaction data under their own notices and terms.

The site also uses browser storage for functions such as attribution, Favorites, Recently Viewed and other site features. You can manage or clear browser cookies and storage in your browser settings; doing so may remove saved preferences or reduce the functionality of some features. 7. How information is shared

We may share the minimum relevant information with providers that help operate the site, host content, process payments, deliver products, provide email or customer support, measure site performance, attribute referral links or prevent fraud. Form submissions are transmitted to our server-side form endpoint and routed by email using Brevo transactional email; they are not used to subscribe you to marketing campaigns. Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical signals to help distinguish legitimate submissions from automated spam. Request details may remain in the receiving mailbox and email-delivery logs for the time needed to handle the inquiry and related business or legal requirements. We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect customers, the business or third parties.

We do not sell customer personal information for monetary consideration. We do not intentionally disclose full payment-card details through the website.

8. International processing

Some service providers may process information in countries outside your home jurisdiction. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the relevant processing arrangement should use an appropriate legal mechanism.

9. How long we keep information

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to complete transactions, provide support, handle disputes, maintain accounting and transaction records, prevent fraud and meet applicable legal obligations. Different categories of information may be kept for different periods based on their purpose and legal requirements.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent or complaint to a data-protection authority. Send privacy requests through our Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some information may need to be retained where law requires it.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information and risks involved. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid including passwords or unnecessary sensitive details in messages.

12. Children

The website is not directed to young children. We do not knowingly request sensitive information from children.

13. Third-party websites and software

The site may link to software publishers, payment pages, Telegram, analytics providers and other third-party services. When you use those services, their own privacy notices and practices apply. We do not control all of the data practices of external sites.
